Coach Corinna Patak comes to Shenango after growing up right in our backyard of Sharon. She later moved and graduated from Reynolds High School, where she was the starting shortstop all four years of her high school career. At the collegiate level, she played middle infield at Clarion University, graduating in December of 2010. As an adult, she still plays with friends in the Mercer Woman’s Softball league and occasionally for her church softball team. Patak was most notably the head varsity softball coach at AC Valley High School from 2011-2013, and she has also volunteered for many youth softball programs..

She currently lives in West Middlesex with her husband and two sons. She is a 5th grade teacher at Farrell Elementary School, owner of Solid Rock Gymnastics in Emlenton, PA, and is opening Early Explorers Montessori Preschool this fall in downtown Sharon.

The 2025-26 season will mark the first at Penn State Shenango for Coach Patak.
