Athletic Training

Zoe

Shenango Athletics announced a partnership with NovaCare Rehabilitation to provide Athletic Training services beginning in 2021. Zoe Kratzer, a former trainer with Penn State Beaver from 2020-2021, began her term with Shenango athletics on August 16th, 2021. "We are so excited to offer the first full-time trainer to our student-athletes. With Zoe already having knowledge of the PSUAC, this was a no-brainer. This will be a huge resource for all current and future athletes at our campus," said Amanda Howett, Athletic Director.

Kratzer will be the first full-time Athletic Trainer for the Athletics Department. She oversees all healthcare and physical well-being for the student-athletes in all sports on campus.

Kratzer received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of La Verne in 2018, where she also participated in intercollegiate Women's Water Polo and Swimming. In 2020, Kratzer received her Master's in Education from Westminster College, where she was also a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. While at Westminster, she worked closely with the Football, Volleyball, Swim & Dive, and Softball programs.

Zoe is a board-certified athletic trainer and holds licensure from the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. She is certified in AED, CPR, and Standard First Aid through the American Heart Association.

Zoe's office is located in the recently renovated Athletic Training space, Sharon Hall 208.

To schedule an appointment contact Zoe via email at zpk5041@psu.edu. Office hours will vary based on the season and practice/game schedules. Appointments are required for rehab.
