PENN STATE SHENANGO STUMBLES ON THE ROAD, FALLS TO DUBOIS 70-59

DUBOIS, PA- Penn State Shenango got off to a slow start on Tuesday night, not able to score their first point until the 12:53 mark of the first half and already down by 14. The Lions recovered but couldn't overcome the deficit eventually falling 70-59. Penn State DuBois was led by former Shenango Lion Russell Gariepy, from Albion, PA, who recorded a stat line of 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists on the night. Tre'von Williams came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 16 points, 7 of 9 from the floor and 2 of 3 from behind the arc.

Penn State Shenango was led by a quartet of players all scoring 11 markers in Brayden Martin, Devonte Carter, BJ Williams, and Malcolm Rouse.

The Lions now fall a game and a half behind second place Penn State Greater Allegheny by virtue of their Tuesday night road win at Penn State Fayette. The Lions fall to 9-12 overall and 9-6 in the conference. 

Penn State Shenango returns to the court this Saturday at the Buhl Recreation Center to face Penn State Fayette (8-14, 6-10). Tip off is slated for 2:00 PM.
