PENN STATE SHENANGO STAYS CLOSE ALL NIGHT BUT FALLS TO FREDONIA STATE, 62-53

FREDONIA, NY- Penn State Shenango never took a lead from the opening tip but stayed within striking distance the entire night only trailing by one at the 7 minute mark, 45-44. That was as close as they could get to the Blue Devils from Fredonia State finally falling by a score of 62-53. Fredonia State, now 6-7 on the season, was led by 6-8 senior Moussa Samassa with 19 points and 16 rebounds.

Tyler James (Warren JFK) led Penn State Shenango with 13 points and 12 rebounds with Donovan Verges adding 12 more points and 6 boards on the night.

The Lions (4-11, 4-5) return to conference action this weekend as they take to the road to play Penn State Lehigh Valley (1-14, 1-8) on Friday night. Tip off is set for 7:00 PM.
