Coach Mark Bolinger comes to Shenango after six seasons with the Neshannock Township Girls’ Volleyball program. During his time there, he coached middle school and junior varsity teams, while also assisting at the varsity level. He has also led developmental skills clinics for athletes from elementary through high school.

Mark developed his love of volleyball over 30 years ago on outdoor sand courts and it continues today with the indoor game. He emphasizes key principles such as having a growth mindset, developing trust, and believing that if you're going to do something, do it right—not halfway.

The 2025-26 season will mark the first at Penn State Shenango for Coach Bolinger.
