Shenango Set for Historic Nationals Debut at USCAA Division II Tournament
Sharon, PA – November 5, 2025
Fresh off a historic postseason run, the Penn State Shenango Lions are heading to the USCAA Division II National Tournament for the first time in program history. The tournament, hosted at Penn State Fayette from November 6–8, 2025, features six of the nation's best small-college programs, with Shenango entering as the #5 seed after finishing 14-9 overall and undefeated (10-0) in PSUAC regular-season play.
Guided by PSUAC Coach of the Year Andrew Frank, the Lions have turned heads all season long. Overcoming adversity, upsetting top programs, and rewriting the record books for Shenango Women's Volleyball. After earning the program's first-ever PSUAC Championship appearance and finishing as conference runner-up, the Lions will now test themselves on the national stage.
Pool A Matchups and Schedule
Penn State Shenango has been placed in Pool A alongside #1 UC Clermont (23-4) and #4 Wright State–Lake (10-9).
-
Thursday, November 6 – 5:00 PM vs. #1 UC Clermont (ARC Court)

Friday, November 7 – 12:00 PM vs. #4 Wright State–Lake (Main Court)
The top teams from each pool will advance to Friday night's National Semifinals, with the winners moving on to the USCAA Division II National Championship the following day.
