Faith Sullivan Represents Shenango at Grove City Women's Golf Invitational

Penn State Shenango's Faith Sullivan took to the course on Thursday, April 3rd as the college's lone competitor in a deep and talented women's golf field—and she represented her school with determination and class.

Sullivan carded a 104 (+32) on the day, tying for 43rd overall in a field of 60 golfers. While the course played tough for nearly every participant, Sullivan battled through each hole with focus and a never-quit mindset, gaining valuable experience along the way.

Competing solo is never easy, but Sullivan showed the kind of composure and perseverance that defines a strong individual athlete. Her presence in the event continues to establish Penn State Shenango on the collegiate golf map and serves as a proud milestone for the program.

The tournament's top honor went to Geneva's Madison Sharek, who fired a 78 (+6) to claim medalist honors in what proved to be a challenging day for scoring. Sullivan, competing without the benefit of teammates for support on the course, still held her own in the crowded field and walked away with plenty of positives to build on.

With each event, Sullivan continues to develop her game and grow her presence in the region. Her performance this weekend is another sign of great things to come—for both her golf journey and for Penn State Shenango.
