The 21-22 season marked Coach Reid’s first season at Penn State Shenango, but it was also the first year of women’s basketball returning to the Shenango campus. During that season, Coach Reid led the program to a 10-12 overall record and 10-9 record in the PSUAC. The Shenango women earned the West's #4 seed in the PSUAC playoffs. The inaugural season would end with a heartbreaking 73-69 first-round playoff loss to Penn State Greater Allegheny. Coach Reid led the program to an overall record of 16-10 and a PSUAC record of 14-5. The season would conclude with another first round playoff exit. Sophomore Hailee Aguinaga would earn PSUAC First-Team honors as well as being named a USCAA Second-Team All-American. Aguinaga also led the entire PSUAC in rebounding for the 22-23 season. Once again, Aneziah Fryer would receive both conference and national recognition, as she was named to the PSUAC West Second-Team and named a USCAA Honorable Mention All-American. Mid-season transfer Shar'Da Williamson would also be recognized by the PSUAC, earning a spot on the PSUAC West Second-Team. Senior Karsyn Rupert was named a USCAA Academic All-American.
The 23-24 season was a historic one for the Penn State Shenango Women’s Basketball program. Coach Reid led the program to an 18-9 overall record, a 14-5 record in the PSUAC and an 11-1 record at home. Shenango picked up many notable wins during the 23-24 season, one of which was against Coach Reid’s alma mater, Thiel College. For the second year in a row, Shenango Women’s Basketball picked up a win against the NCAA Division III Tomcats. Shenango would go on to be the #2 seed in the west of the PSUAC and finish 3rd overall in the PSUAC. Penn State Shenango Women’s Basketball would also spend much of the 23-24 season ranked in the USCAA Top 10. Coach Reid's program earned their first PSUAC playoff win, beating Penn State Mont Alto 78-64 in the conference quarterfinals. Shenango lost in the PSUAC conference semi-finals to Penn State Lehigh Valley. Following the end of the PSUAC playoffs, Penn State Shenango would earn the #10 seed in the USCAA National Tournament. Earning the bid for the USCAA National Tournament was a departmental first for Penn State Shenango. The program would lose two games while at the national tournament, one of which was to the eventual USCAA Champions, Christendom College. Junior Hailee Aguinaga would be named to the PSUAC West Honorable Mention Team as well as receiving USCAA Second Team All-American honors. Junior Shar'Da Williamson would earn Second-Team PSUAC West honors as well as being named a USCAA Honorable Mention All-American. Junior Alli Lewis was named a USCAA Academic All-American.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Reid graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in 2011. At the conclusion of her senior basketball season, she was named First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-District. Reid attributes her love for coaching to her father, Shawn Reid, who played NCAA Division I basketball at Furman University. She is excited and dedicated to creating a successful women's basketball program at Penn State Shenango. Coach Reid resides in Sharon, PA with her fiancé Ron, and their two children.
As previously mentioned, the 2024-25 season will mark the fourth at Penn State Shenango for Coach Reid.
