Sharon, Pa. — Penn State Shenango and Penn State Shenango Athletics congratulate the student-athletes recognized with high academic honors during the fall 2024 semester.
Out of the 96 students named to the fall 2024 dean's list, 39 were Shenango student-athletes, 40 percent of the total number of students.
"I could not be prouder of our student-athletes for their outstanding performance in the classroom," said Athletic Director Brandon Padgett. "We continue to modify our academic support methodology to best suite our amazing young men and women, and we're seeing the results."
Collectively, the Shenango Athletics departmental GPA encompassing all student-athletes is 3.128 as of the end of the fall semester.
Individual team GPAs:
- Baseball – 3.020
- Men's Basketball – 3.244
- Women's Basketball – 3.199
- Cross Country – 3.477
- Golf – 3.420
- Women's Volleyball – 2.733
