SHARON, PA- The Waynesburg University Yellow Jackets advanced to 3-18 on the season by defeating the Penn State Shenango Lady Lions on Saturday afternoon by the score of 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-16). The Lady Lions fell to 10-13 on the campaign.

Robin Reynolds (Grove City, PA) cashed in with 10 kills on the afternoon while Jenna Bornemiss (Girard, OH) registered 12 assists. Donique Marcella (Farrell, PA) led the defensive effort with 10 digs.

The Lady Lions return to the hardwood on Sunday afternoon to face conference rival Penn State Mont Alto at 2:00 pm in the Buhl Recreation Center. Penn State Mont Alto (17-7, 7-4) secured their spot n the post season conference tournament by vertue of their Saturday afternoon victory over Penn State DuBois.
