NEW KENSINGTON, PA- The Penn State Shenango Lady Lions rebounded from a brief two game losing streak in grand fashion on Saturday afternoon with a dominate pair of victories in the Penn State New Kensington tri match. Penn State Shenango (10-12, 2-8) took the first match in three sets versus Penn State New Kensington with scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-9 then returned to the floor to handle Kent State Tuscarawas (7-7) also in three by scores of 25-18, 25-24, and 25-23.

In the first match, Ashley Haylett (Conneaut Lake, PA) turned in another stellar outing with 10 kills while Jenna Bornemiss (Girard, OH) added 18 assists. Donique Marcella (Farrell, PA) controlled the back line with 15 digs.

The Lady Lions will now finish off the regular season with four consecutive home matches at the Buhl Recreation Center beginning this Wednesday night versus Allegheny College (5-16 overall, 0-4 in the North Coast Athletics Conference). First serve is set for 700 PM.
