LADY LIONS LOSE IN THREE TO FIRST PLACE PSU FAYETTE

SHARON, PA- With Olivia Vogel out with a foot injury, the Penn State Shenango Lady Lions took on the current divison leader PSU Fayette, and lost in three sets 25-17, 25-10, and 25-17. With the win, and a PSU Mont Alto loss Wednesday night versus PSU Beaver, PSU Fayette pulled a full game into first place in the PSUAC West currently sitting at 7-1.

Despite the loss Robin Reynolds (Grove City, PA) registered 10 kills along with Donique Marcella (Farrell, PA) with 9 digs and Jenna Bornemiss (Girard, OH) finishing the night with 15 assists. Jadyn Barnish (Carmichaels, PA) led the PSU Fayette charge with 16 kills.

Penn State Shenango (8-12, 1-8 in the conference) now travels to PSU New Kensington (12:00 PM) this Saturday afternoon for a tri match along with Kent State Tuscarawas (2:00 PM) before finishing out the regular season with four consecutive matches at home.
