LIONS FALL ON THE ROAD TO PENN STATE YORK, 73-47

YORK, PA- Penn State Shenango took a two point lead into intermission on Friday night, 28-26, with eight players scoring points to aid the Lions cause. After the break Penn State York started to look like the 8th ranked team in the USCAA polls by outscoring the Lions 47-19. 

Led by the trio of Richard Grant (14 points and 13 rebounds), Michael Coleman (12 points), and Shawn Blaney (12 points) Penn State York (8-5, 5-2) took control of the contest shooting 60 percent from the floor.

Penn State Shenango was led by Sophomore Tyler James, coming off the bench to play 26 minutes and score 12 points and collect 8 rebounds.

The Lions (3-9, 3-4) have the weekend off before traveling to Penn State Mont Alto, currently ranked 5th in the USCAA polls, on Tuesday night (January 14th). Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
