LIONS LOSE 84-74 TO WESTMINSTER COLLEGE IN THE BUZZ RIDL CLASSIC

NEW WILMINGTON, PA- Dylan O'Hara torched the nets for 27 points including 5 of 5 from behind the 3 point line to lead the Westminster Titans over Penn State Shenango on Saturday night 84-74. The Lions stayed close most of the night then tied the score at 58 with 10:30 left in the second half on a Tyrone Steals (New Castle, PA) lay in. The Titans regained control stretching the lead out to 14 at 80-66 led by the sharp shooting O'Hara and the inside play of Isaac Stamatiades who finished the game with 14 points and 9 rebounds.

The Lions bench strength was further depleted on Saturday night with Donovan Verges and Malcolm Rouse sitting the game out with injuries. Tyrone Steals (New Castle, PA) stepped up with a stat line of 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Brayden Martin (Grove City, PA) followed with 18 while Larry Ransom, Jr. chipped in with 14 points and 12 boards on the night.

Penn State Shenango take to the road again on Tuesday night for their first conference match up versus Penn State Fayette in Lemont Furnace. Tip off is set for 7:00 PM.
