Coach Eric Francis (Coach E) comes to Shenango from New Castle, PA in Lawrence County. He graduated from Shenango High School and then continued to finish his masters level education at California University of Pennsylvania, currently called Penn West-California. 

 

He has coached high school baseball for Neshannock High School and for the Beaver Valley travel ball program. Today, he runs and operates a baseball company that primarily works with new/beginner level baseball prospects, moderate, and HS/college level players and has coaches who give lessons to a full range of players as well. He owns and manages a nonprofit 501(c) college summer baseball club, the 3B Barons. The Barons are not just a team, but an organization, that strives for community give back. 

 

His entire existence is dedicated to the art of baseball and he is excited to continue that passion at Penn State Shenango.

 

The 2023-24 season will mark the first at Penn State Shenango for Coach Francis.
