Penn State Shenango

Nicole “Coach Nikki” Odem began her coaching career over ten years ago after a very successful high school basketball career at Sharon High School, where her team won region titles as well as a District X title in 2006.  She was a four-year varsity letter winner and a defensive standout. After high school, Coach Nikki went on to continue her education by first earning a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Psychology with a Neuroscience focus. She then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with a Physician Assistant concentration from The University of Toledo. 

 

Odem finished PA school and returned to give back to the Sharon area. She started her career and dedicated her time to coaching basketball by returning to her alma mater, where she coached middle school girls and assisted at the varsity level. She has coached AAU teams and also does private player development. Coach Nikki comes to Penn State Shenango looking to help equip young women with the tools they need on the court and in life. She is eager to help build a legacy through a winning and respectable program!
